Josephine Tintera is a compassionate Junior Associate Attorney for the Stange Law Firm, PC, serving Bloomington, Illinois and surrounding areas. She is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.
Josephine earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin while majoring in Sociology and minoring in Business. While completing her degree, she served as an intern for the Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid, where she connected with prospective and current clients to handle difficult situations and offer hep. She also completed an internship at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, where she conducted substantial legal research, drafted memorandums, and observed courtroom proceedings.
Josephine earned her Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law. During her time there, she participated in many activities, internships, and research. She was a Board Member for the Southern Illinois University School of Law Women’s Law Forum while simultaneously serving as a Research Assistant for the Nevada Civil Rights Commission. She also served as a Teaching Assistant for the class “Torts & Civil Procedure”, helping first-year students come to a fuller understanding of the law. After graduation, she completed internships at multiple State Attorney’s offices in Illinois, rounding out her law experience and knowledge to better serve clients.
When not assisting clients, Josephine enjoys reading, volunteering, and running.
