Founding Partner

Kirk Stange is the sole contributor to this blog, and is one of the Founding Partners of Stange Law Firm, PC. Kirk founded the divorce and family law firm in 2007, and has since helped the firm flourish and grow into what it is today. Kirk is a trained mediator, guardian ad litem, and collaborative family law attorney. Additionally, Kirk serves on the Board of Directors for St. Louis Collaborative Family Law Association. Kirk is also part of the 2016 Emory University School of Law Kessler-Eidson Program for Trial Techniques where he serves as an adjunct professor in the role of a trial skills instructor.
Kirk Stange is licensed to practice in the Missouri, Illinois, Kansas and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Because of all his devotion to divorce and family law, Kirk has been recognized by many different organizations. In 2015 and 2016, Kirk was named to the “Super Lawyers” list by Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers Magazine. Previously, Kirk was named to the “Rising Stars” list by Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers Magazine in both 2013 and 2014. He has also been named “Top 10 Family Law Attorney in Missouri” by National Academy of Family Law Attorneys, “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” by The National Trial Lawyers, to name a few.
Additionally, Kirk has authored many books, including: Thomson Reuters (Aspatore Publishing) in 2012 titled: Strategies for Military Family Law: Leading Lawyers on Navigating Family Law in the Armed Forces (Inside the Minds). Kirk published a full-length book through Thomson Reuters (Aspatore Publishing) in 2014 titled: Prenuptial Agreements Line by Line. Further, in 2015, Kirk authored another chapter in a book through Thomson Reuters (Aspatore Published) titled: Strategies for Illinois Family Law: Leading Lawyers on Leveraging Alternative Dispute Resolution, Negotiating Alimony and Child Support, and Managing Client Expectations (Inside the Minds).
