Sally studied law at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, earning her Juris Doctorate in 1984. Prior to earning her J.D., she attended the University of Missouri – St. Louis where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. More recently, Sally obtained her certification in Elementary Education for Grades 1-6. Sally is currently licensed and ready to assist individuals in the state of Missouri.
Before joining the St. Louis divorce lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC in Clayton, Sally gained years of experience as a Partner for a St. Louis law firm focusing their practice in Family Law and Real Estate Litigation. After spending 25 years with this firm and having earned her certificate in elementary education, she transitioned into a teaching role with Imagine Academy of Careers Elementary from 2009 through 2012. She then went on to spend 9 years as a teacher with St. Louis Public Schools. During her time as a teacher with SLPS, Sally also served as the President of American Federation for Teachers, Local 420, the union representing SLPS teachers, from 2017 though 2020. During her legal career, Sally also served in leadership roles for the Ethics Committee of the Missouri Bar Association and the Family Law Committee of the Missouri Bar Association. She spent 4 years as a Hearing Officer conducting trials regarding allegations of ethical violations for the Missouri Bar Association as well as served as a Guardian ad Lidem for the mentally ill in the Probate Court of the City of St. Louis. Sally also volunteers her time, spending 4 years on the Board of Directors of the Heritage House Foundation as well as 1 year on the Board of Directors of the Missouri Chapter of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
