Zoë attended law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois where she earned her Juris Doctorate in December 2019. While in law school, she received the 2019 Fleischman Family Award for Excellence in Criminal Clinic and took part in the 2019 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Before studying law, Zoë attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida where she earned her Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in Criminology, Law, and Society in 2015 and 2017, respectively. Zoë also earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Psychology from the University of Calgary in Canada in May 2013. Zoë is currently licensed and ready to help clients in the State of Illinois.
Zoe was named a Rising Stars Honoree by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine for 2024, an award that represents no more than 2.5% of lawyers in the state.
Before joining the McLean County family lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC, Zoë most recently worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the DeKalb County State’s Attorney’s Office before moving on to the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office. In these roles, she worked to prosecute misdemeanor, misdemeanor domestic violence, and felony domestic violence cases. She was tasked with representing people in the State at Illinois at status hearings, motion hearings, and trials, as well as interviewing victims, filed legal memoranda, and argued at hearings in preparation for trial.
