Jacob Wamego is a Senior Associate Attorney in the Topeka, Kansas office of Stange Law Firm, PC. He is committed to helping individuals navigate challenging legal matters with clear guidance and steady support. Jacob understands that legal issues can bring significant uncertainty, and he works closely with clients to ensure they understand their options and the steps involved in the process. Through careful preparation, attention to detail, and open communication, he strives to help clients move forward with confidence.
Jacob earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law, where he also completed a Tribal Lawyer Certificate. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from Friends University to further develop his leadership and management skills. Jacob received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Washburn University, graduating with high honors. He has also completed professional leadership training through Harvard Business School’s Leading People and Investing to Build Sustainable Communities program and earned a Certificate of Excellence through the National Minority Supplier Development Council program at Rutgers University.
Before joining Stange Law Firm, PC, Jacob held a variety of leadership and professional roles involving governance, regulatory compliance, and organizational management. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Prairie Band, LLC, the holding company wholly owned by the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, where he oversaw business operations, strategic initiatives, and growth across multiple subsidiary companies. Earlier in his career, Jacob worked as an Administrative Investigator for the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Tribal Gaming Commission, where he handled regulatory enforcement matters and investigations involving gaming operations. Through these roles, he developed experience addressing complex regulatory issues, managing organizations, and working with diverse stakeholders.
